Izaac Walton League's "Protect Our Wetlands" program
educates us about wetland ecology, functions, and values,
and provides the tools we need to protect these valuable
ecosystems. They sponsor hands-on workshops suitable for
neighborhood or classroom which both advocate wetland
conservation and offer tools to become effectively involved.

The U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency website offers links to related sites,
curriculum guides, and teaching tools on the subject of
wetlands. You will also find activities for students and
excellent program ideas for getting involved in wetland
protection.

The Delaware Riverkeeper network
is dedicated to protecting and restoring the Delaware River,
its tributaries, and habitats. This is a pro-active
organization which offers you the opportunity to become
involved with any or all issues which have the potential to
affect the integrity of the river.
